The Piccolo is one of those tag-along bikes that attaches to your
bicycle and allows you to ride with your 4-10 year-old child behind
you. It's real nice because you can cover some significant ground
without having to worry about your child keeping up or wandering off or
crossing the bike path into oncoming traffic. When my daughter was only
6 or 7 she was strong enough to push the two of us along at a nice pace
(albeit for short bursts.)
The Piccolo is a special a high quality unit with a unique two-way
pivot mechanism. The attachment point is on a special rack that is
above the rear axle of your bike. This works better than those units
that attach to the seat post. The attachment mechanism works real nice
with a knob that is as big as your hand and has an additional safety
latch to keep things from going wrong. The frame and rack are
chrome-moly and it has six speed gears. Included also is a vetta
cyclo-computer.

This particular unit was purchased by me in 1998 and is in perfect
condition. It includes the moose rack and the entire set of mounting
hardware (plus a little extra, I think) the flag and the original
manual and sales receipt. Also included also is a vetta C25
cyclo-computer that still works!
The Piccolo is essentially unchanged from the time of its introduction.
The resale market for Piccolos has been very strong for years with most
selling well above $200! I'm asking $225
With a little inflation, in 4 or 5 years, you may be able to sell this
one at a profit!
