The 5900 feels much more stiff and responsive than the 5500 I've had
previous seasons. For the 2004 frame, they have fixed the HS problem
(non proprietary bottom cup).
I have original CaneCreek S-6 Aheadset, Bontrager Race Lite
handlebars, Bontrager Race [censored] Lite, 31.8, 7 degree stem, and
Bontrager Race X Lite carbon seatpost if you would like those in place
of the Ritchey upgrades.
I had a rough year working out of town, so I raced 8 times (pitiful)
and rode this bike maybe 20 times total. This bike has been in the
rain a total of about 10 minutes for the end of one ride. I doubt
this bike has 1000 miles on it. The bike is pristine.
$3000.
