  1. Along time ago when Woolworths was in business they made a fruit flavored Lollipop that was
delicious. They came in a group of 16 to a package that was linked together, stretcheing about 2
feetlong . Does anyone know what I am talking about. If so does any store still carry these. Or was
this a Woolworth only product. Does anyone have any recipes for fruit flavored suckers???

Williams Sonoma and King Arthur Flour both sell materials for candymaking, including high-quality
    flavoring oils.

Charms, Jolly Rancher, and Saf-T-Pops are all availlable still.

If you search google for "old fashioned candy" you'll find lots of lollipops. Here is a link to a
good possibility. Although the pops aren't linked together, they are fruit flavored. Good luck.

Wish I could help you with a recipe...but this certainly brings back memories! We used to go to the
big, old Woolworth's on Central Ave. in Albany. I used to love to look through those divided bins of
stuff. They had lots of black velvet paintings on one side of the store...near the photo albums and
    candles. Clowns, tigers, Elvis.

And I can just see those strips of lollies hanging at the end of one aisle. I didn't get them very
often, but I thought they were very yummy. Sometimes, they had little faces stamped on one side.

    Good luck with your search!

    Paula
