Front Derailleur Problem??

Why fit aero bars to an OCR? Its a comfort bike, the geometry is all wrong. You should by using a TCR if you want aero bars to work properly.

Barring an installation issue with your gear, it is most likely one of the following problems.

a/ insufficient front derailleur cable tension. (There's not enough wire tension in the highest gear index setting to move the cage all the way to perform a proper shift)

b/ improper setting of the 'H' screw on the front derailleur. (The derailleur's limit stops prevent the cage from moving enough to perform a proper shift)

Both of these are fairly simple things to diagnose (and fix if necessary), take a look at this site on Park Tool's repair page:

2 clicks on the brifters to up each ring?

Is it clicking twice for you?

I got by Giant OCR3 back from the shop today. I got Aerobars installed, and the horizontal brakes removed (there's two sets of handbrakes on the OCR3). I was excited to take it for a ride tonight, but much to my dismay, I couldn't get the bike to shift to the largest chainring. No problems on the small or the middle, but when I went to shift to the largest chainring, the chain and the derailleur got stuck in between chainrings and was very difficult to downshift to the middle chainring.

I'll be taking it back to the store tomorrow to have them look at, but is there an adjustment I can make to it to get it back right? I'm new at riding, even newer at working on my own bike.

There should have been no reason for the shop to have adjusted you limit screws. Put your chain on the smallest ring gear and biggest cog. Now andjust the front derailleur cable tension, so there is minimum clearance between the inside of the derailleur cage and inside of the smallest ring gear. The cage should start to move, as soon as you start to move the shift lever.
