Front Derailleur + crank question

Try it and see. The FD cage might be too wide and hit the crank arm
but it might be OK.

I switched one of my bikes from the D/A triple to the Shimano Compact
crankset while retaining the D/A triple dérailleur. After a minor
amount of adjusting the upper and lower limit screws, everything works
fine. You will have a *lot* of trim positions though.

Yep, just adjust and go ride. It will probably work great. 16t
difference vs 14 tooth difference ..no problema-
