I'm building up a frame with an ultegra bottom-pull front derailleur. The frame has a 76 degree seat
tube, riveted-on derailleur mount, and cable routing through the bottom bracket area of the frame.
The problem is the cable rubs on the area of the rear cage pivot of the front derailleur. The
contact won't let the derailler shift properly. I've tried running the cable through a small piece
of tubing where it contacts the derailleur, but the cable tension still prevents proper shifting
functions. Any kind of spacer between the hanger and derailleur would worsen the contact as it would
push the derailleur to the rear. Any recommendations on how to remedy this? TIA.

hanger? Is a special tool required or am I barking up the wrong tree with this "fix"?
