  1. Hi All

I have a question about front derailleur and getting the derailleur as close as possible to the seat
post. I would like to know if a bottom pull bottom swing derailleur will allow the chain to move
inward, towards the seat post, more than a bottom pull top swing? I am not sure that I am using the
correct terms regarding swing, but basically shimano makes two XT bottom pull derailleurs and I want
the one that will move the derailleur as close as possible to the seat post.

If I did not give enough information, please let me know what is missing.

I recently switched to a set of TA Specialized cranks and Axix BB. I notice that I am now having
problems getting the chain to drop in the 22 ring in the front. My derailleur pulls from the bottom
and even with the adjustment screw turned out, is still about 1/2" from the seat post.

    Thanks in advance

    Louis
