I am trying to convert a Vision VR30 into Front/Rear derailier setup rather than the standard Rear/Hub version. I Managed to attach a derailleur post scavenged from a mointain bike, but then realised the angle of the post was wrong, ie it angles at about 45 degrees, simlar to most SWB's, but the Front Derailleur I have whats to be at almost 90 degrees??

Most derailleurs spec out at about 60 degrees. That is, the chainline to mounting is measured to 60. IIRC, my Shimano derailleur I just installed, said 62-64 degrees on the instruction sheet.
