  1. "Cyclist killed in lorry collision

A 62-year-old cyclist died on Tuesday when he was involved in a collision
with a Leyland DFV HGV in Darlaston.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occured at
approximately 10.40am in Walsall Road (A4038) at the junction with the A462
    Darlaston Road.

The cyclist, said to be a local man, suffered serious injuries to his legs
and pelvis and died later later in hospital.

The lorry driver, a 39-year-old Bloxwich man, was not injured."

  2. At least the Police seem to be taking this one seriously for a change:

Man arrested at fatal crash scene
A 22-year-old man has been arrested at the scene of a road crash in
    which a cyclist died.

Emergency services were called to Histon Road, Cottenham,
Cambridgeshire, where two cars and the cyclist had collided during the
    rush hour.

A police spokeswoman said a man was in police custody on suspicion of
    causing death by dangerous driving.

She added that the road was expected to remain closed for some time
    while investigations take place.
