  1. It's a shame what's happening with this service lately. In the last
month, they've failed to deliver a single order without missing and/or
broken items. I got fed up yesterday and dropped them entirely. The
order was late and the driver didn't even bother to call, or apologies
when he finally arrived. And of course, 4 cans of tuna were missing.

That was it... This, after they failed to issue credits for the
missing items from last weeks' order and didn't respond to email.

I see Cosmo.com in their future; many parallels.

We have noticed a similar (though not quite as drastic) deterioration in
service; it seemed to start around the second week in February when the big
    snowstorm happened.

We are very happy that Trader Joe's is open now on 14th street though...

  3. Well, I've only used them once, and I was a bit disappointed. There
was a hole in a little carton of yogurt and it spritzed on a lot of
other food. Pretty hard for the packer to have missed, I think.
Still, I wasn't going to request a refund for seventy-five cents.

Two other complaints: one, their "gourmet smoked bacon" was Oscar
Meyer quality (that means BAD). It was only $6 so maybe that should
have tipped me off. Two, none of the fruit I ordered was anywhere near
    ripe. I expected better.

Anyway, here's why I ordered. There's a promotion where New Yorkers
get $25 off their first two orders of $40 or more. Type "NYPOST" in
the promotion code box. Worked like a charm for me! (Naturally, you
can't use it if they don't deliver in your neighborhood -- which is
most of New York.) Even with their $5 deliver charge, you'll get $80
    worth of groceries for $40+.

Frankly, I don't see myself using them again. I can walk to the store
in 10 minutes and get the same quality food -- and this is from a POS
Key Food store. Why waste the time ordering online and staying home 2
hours to wait for them? (And, as Agent_C says, putting up with their
    faults.)

  4. over rated!
