I'm in the middle of building up an old (late 50s or early 60s) Frejus track bike, and I cannot get an accurate reading of the seat tube ID using calipers. As far as I can tell, it's smaller than 27.0 and larger than 25.4. It uses a separate binder that fits over a flange at the top of the seat lug.
Is there anybody out there familiar with the marque who can tell me what seat post size(s) will work?
I bought a 2nd hand Frejus track bike last year, fit it with a 27.0 Great bike so far. I bought the seatpost through the Internet, the original seatpost-rails, 50's Campagnolo, do not fit modern day Saddles

Thanks for the tip. I think mine is smaller, though. We tried to stuff the post from a Bridgestone MB-4, which I'm told is 27.0, and couldn't get past the slit in the seat lug.
