freezing food

Was it a salad to begin with? I wouldn't freeze anything with mayo in
it. I think it would thaw out really funky. Then again...I've never
made tuna salad and froze it. I don't think avocado would freeze too
well. Anyone??

I was hesitant to reply earlier, but I agree. Don't think mayo or
avcado freezes well. But it seems to me I read a trick in here not too
long ago from someone who made something out of the avocado and then
froze it.

I'd be inclined to say no. Salads really don't freeze well because the
texture changes when they freeze, and they thaw out again slimy or
dried out depending on how much liquid was in them. I don't think
mayonnaise is freezable either - it might seperate. Avocado is
supposed to be freezable though!
