Nice try, I like the way you pay attention except that I don't think the
investigators in France give a hoot who has the jersey. Allowing the host to
have a few (very few) crumbs is just courtesy. Nothing really to be gained
IMO. ASO *might* appreciate it but they don't have any influence over the
investigation unless they won't to hurt someone. I really doubt they can
make anyone's life any easier though.

Exactly right, Postal wasn't about to let just anyone get away in a break
yesterday and take the yellow jersey. Another calculated move by Bruyneel
and probably Lance himself. Who better than the up-and-coming, personable,
young star of French cycling? Looks like a winning move for organizers,
sponsers, French TV and Postal who score brownie points for their "gesture"
towards the home-team.

It's all Bruyneel; Lance doesn't make the tactical decisions, he just rides
his bike and does what Bruyneel says.
