The paint on our cannondale tandem is falling off, so I think at some point I'd like to get it redone.
Cannondale's answer is for them to chemically strip it, then repaint (in Holland) - if I'd bought the frame new, I'd consider this.
So my question is, who else can do this? I was considering a powder coat instead of paint, for toughness, but I think I'd go with their recommendations on how to remove the existing paint.
I'd only be after a plain colour, and probably no transfers or anything complicated. And I'm in the Yorkshire Dales.

One of the issues is that cannondales are aluminium and thinwall/large diameter. Aluminium is also not as easy to deal with safely as steel. Unless BJ (or other frame finishers) specifically take on such frames, it may be better to get Cannondale to do the work.

They did my Al bike with no problems. About £60 for a single colour ISTR

One of the issues is that Cannondale use paint finishes which though extremely good looking in the showroom are not actually that durable. My beloved Jekyll, two years old, now has a number of patches where the paint has worn away altogether to bare aluminium, and several other places where the paint is very scratched. OK, it's a mountain bike and mountain bikes inevitably get much harsher treatment than road bikes, but I don't feel that I'd ask Cannondale to repaint it. Yes, it will probably get repainted sooner or later, but by someone else.
