Frame sizes on Tour

Well it's pretty easy for the t-mobile riders as I think Giant only make four sizes of frame (XS, S, M, L,).

I think Ullrich uses the Large frame which has a seat/top tube length of 55.5/58.5 cm.

they look small because they are the compact type frames which are designed to have the seat post raised x amount of inches. Each individual frame size has a prescribed number of inches that the seat post should be extended for the greatest comfort. Trek and others still use 54 56 ect. Somewhere on this site I read that producing the frames this way allows them to fit a greater variety of riders???
