  1. An email to Specialized produced photocopies of the original
"Witchcraft" appendix mentioned in another thread about
vibration damping, but unfortunately the photocopies weren't
much more legible than the online PDF:

I gave up trying to decipher things through a magnifying
glass after mindlessly transcribing one caption as "P50" and
then noticing larger text about a "PSD" accelerometer.

However, another sheet included one graph that compared the
Specialized Roubaix carbon frame's rear damping to an
aluminum competitor and another graph that compared the
    Roubaix to a carbon competitor:

Sparing no expense to advance bicycle science, I replaced my
dead scanner with a new one from Office Max. (It was $4.95
after rebates, so I daringly declined the 1-year extended
    warranty for $5.95.)

The JPG file is 1.6 mb to provide detail--the graph scales
are legible, and the overprinted little tilted squares are
what the graphing software must have used.
