  1. I'm looking for a new fork, and i'm curious, when people say the steering shaft is 145mm, is that counting the base up to the threads, or does that count all the way to the top of the fork, I would assume just up to the threads, but i figured i'd ask,

and are all threads on the top of the fork the same?

All the way to the top. All realtively current 1" stuff is the same. oOder Italian stuff used italian threading which is for all practical purposes is usable with current ISO 1" HS threading.
