Don't know if anyone can help a slightly clueless novice! I'm wanting to fit some carbon forks to a Bianchi Gold Sport bike, but now sure which fittings I need. My headset is a VP-A42C which says 1-1/8" on it, but the bike shop thinks the headset is probably not integrated, although they are not sure. My options on the carb forks are 1" ahead or 1 1/8" integral. Any ideas which I need??

Thank-you
Find another bike shop, not populated by morons. 11/8" could be traditional, integrated or integral HS. A fork make for integrated HS can be used with a non inetgrated HS but will look a bit strange.

Thanks for that, I've found out my bike has 1/8" steerer with integrated headset. Does that mean the 1 1/8 integral will be okay? Sorry to be so dopey on all this! Thanks again
