The small British engineering company forge-mtb is closing. I believe parts are now half-price including thumb-shifter mounts to adapt roadie style thumbshifters to fit on MTB bars, excellent single-speed devices and nice stems. see the thread here on singletrackworld for more info:

Have just placed my order for an 18t SS conversion kit. Wanted a stem too, but they didn't have the size I wanted.
Now have to find somewhere else that sells 16t DX sprockets...
