  1. Hi,

I am having increasing interference between my Forerunner 301 and any
electrical devices such as an AM-FM handheld radio or iPod. I've tried
everything in the FAQ at the Garmin site (such as switching wrists)
with no success. I've tested the batteries in the chest strap and they
are good. I've ensured the wrist unit is fully charge. I've verified
    the chest contacts are wet.

The radio does not interfere as badly as does the iPod. The iPod
blocks the heartrate signal 100% of the time. Does anyone experience
this? I was thinking of upgrading to the Forefunner 305 but am worried
about the same situation. I'd rather run without my HR monitor (or
switch brands) rather than run without music.

    Thanks,
    Gary

Take off you tin foil hat. The gamma rays will get you, but short
exp[osure won't rupture your brain cells.

  3. I had a similar problem.

Planned to run from Southampton to Portsmouth but have just passed the
Little Chef outside Coventry. I hope my iPod dies soon.
