I received an email from someone who said they can't post to the user group due to technical
difficulties. But they can view what gets written. So they asked me to create a thread for them.
Below is the text they wanted printed.
I´m a junior elite triathlete, can swim 1500mts in low 19´ using15-17strokes per lap (short course).
I can easily swim with 14-15 strokes per lap during wups and cools but not for the hard sessions,
forgot to say, my kick sux!I can kick with a good rhythm to get my legs floating but is not a strong
kick in kicks sets i do (5x100 coming into 2´10´´ @2´30´´) ...After read some writes on technique
and strokes counting I just tryed today some "changes"! Was swimming with 18-20 strokes/lap and
actually felt faster without struggle...I tryed to start the downsteep phase just when finishing the
other arm pulling phase, before, I was a "catch uper", swimming a "front quadrant?" style, starting
the pull when the other arm was finishing the recovery phase...Would strongly appreciate any
comments here!!!Cheers
