I recently ventured upon a public footpath in Hollingworth/ Littleborough; as we were cutting through to get onto the Rossendale Way that had become for the local residents of a housing estate their own personal rubbish dump. I am not talking about the odd coke can or sack old take away but materesses, garden furniture and rubble to say the least. It is not as if we are awash with pathways all over the country so why is it that people seem treat them with such disrespect or to complain and bicker in order to get these closed or moved.
I think we should start a website and post these photographs to shame these people.
