Hi. Has anyone here suffered from foot cramp? I seem to be getting it after
I get off after a long ride lately. It hasn't been a problem in the past
although I tend to do longer rides these days. I haven't changed my shoes
(Shimano SPD's), I've been riding cleated for the last 3-4 years and my
riding position has remained constant. Does anyone have any suggestions how
I can avoid this?

errm, you've probably already thought of this, but just in case..... it's
hot right now...are you drinking extra liquids....dehydration can cause
cramp.(and sorry, no, beer does not count!)

by loosening my shoes and wiggling my toes intermitently as I ride
and/or stretching the calves whilst on the bike by dropping my heel.Clear Skies

Also are you drinking enough, cramp can be caused by dehydration.--
