I just bought the COOKING WITH JACQUES AND JULIA dvd this week and i love it. It's one of my favorite cooking shows and i try to watch or record it every week. So when i saw the dvd was out, i was eager to grab it. And it is great. It's such a perfect medium for cooking instruction. The random access and the quick rewind to find and watch your favorite recipe or technique.
I'm just sad that there aren't more food shows on dvd.
I would love to get AMERICA'S TEST KITCHEN and GOOD EATS on dvd, as well as Sara Moulton's show.
IRON CHEF, too, but that's not quite instructional.

My wife got my volume 2 of the Good Eats DVDs (she said she couldn't find volume 1) for my birthday last month.
