I want a table that I can print out showing energy, protein, fat, and
carbs for various foods. Something like this:
http://www.brianmac.demon.co.uk/food.htm
Except that the above table has many gross inaccuracies that are bad
enough to ruin calculations for daily intake. Anybody know of a similar
table, but more accurate?
The reason, by the way, that I think the above table is inaccurate is
because I checked nutrition labels on food that I bought against the
USDA database, (which has too much info to be convenient)
http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/Data/SR17/reports/sr17page.htm
and found that those largely agreed with each other, but did NOT agree
with that table.
E.g. Cals per 100g as per USDA and as per above table
raw apple 52 / 35
boiled carrot 35 / 20
onion 44 / 25
lean pork chop 145 / 330
