  1. Hi,
I have been looking all over the place for information on Fontan bikes. I had purchased 2 bikes back in the mid 70's and need to find some information because I need some parts. Does anyone have any knowledge of a web site or the manufacturer's name? Really would like to get these bikes back on the road. Appreciate the help!!!!!

  2. mid-late 70's fontan bikes are interchangable componets with same era Peugeot bikes, mainly simplex etc.
How ever the Fontan are not as sought after as the peugeot, they are just as good and much more rare.
As for restoration, fork, handle bar, post brake leavers, derailers and gears interchangeable with Peugeot!
Companty made bikes from 1883-till ?, I have a suppsion that in the 70's Fontan might have been actually owned by Peugeot because they are so very similar.
