"Focus Factor" by Vital Basics WARNING

There are so many sites as you describe out there. Some are
downright rip offs others are downright dangerous. I have an
interest in tuberculosis and was shocked to find a so called
doctor offering a homeopathic cure for tb.

"Please follow the following procedure to make the medicine.
1. Isolate your Lungs T.B. microbes in the sputum. Let
a laboratory Technician grow your T.B microbes
through the culture media. The petry dish is used to
grow the microbes.

2. Take the petry dish from the technician and transfer the
grown microbes over the culture media, using the tip of
a blade, into the 5cc homeopathic solution.

To carry the microbes sweep the tip of the blade over the
media and dip into the solution. Repeat many times until all
the microbes are taken up and released into the solution.

3. Cap the bottle (use rubber cap), seal it with a
transparent tape. Now keep them somewhere under the
shade for fifteen days. (Do Not Remove the Cap. Use a
syringe for further processing)

4. Shake the bottle well for one minute every day. Prevent
the bottle from being exposed to the direct sun light.

5. After fifteen days, shake the bottle well for 10
minutes. Your Mother Tincture is ready to make
homeopathic potency.

6. Now make the required potency homeopathically at
centecimal scale.

7. To make potency take one drop from the Mother Tincture
and add 99 drops homeopathic solution. Cap it and shake
the bottle for 100 times. Your potency No. 1 is ready.

8. Now again, take one drop from Potency No. 1 and add
99 drops of solution. Shake 100 times. Your Potency
No. 2 is ready. And repeat this procedure upto the
required potency. Start with 30 Potency and gradually
go to the higher.

9. Take 2 Drops per dose in 20cc of plain water 2
times a day.

10. Take occasional dose of patent homeopathic Medicine
'Sulphur 200' potency once a week or 1000 potency once
in 15 days. The day you take a dose of Sulphur, No other
medicines are to be taken.

Your T.B. will be cured for ever. It does wonders."

This doctor is actually telling patients to meddlie with tb
microbes!!!!! dangerous or what?

My experience with the "free" bottle of "Focus Factor":

This is a copy of a letter I wrote to my Credit Card Company
to get the $299.95 charge taken off my credit card.

In early February I responded to a television ad for a free
trial of a vitamin called "Focus Factor". It was for a one
month supply and all I had to do was pay the shipping of
$4.95. There was no obligation to buy more, but I knew it
was one of those deals where they keep sending you high
priced vitamins until you tell them to stop.

I received the "free" sample on February 15, a week later I
called the company and told them I wanted to cancel the
membership and I did not wish to receive any more of the
product. They tried to talk me into high priced plans, but I
was firm and said that I did not wish to purchase any of
their product. The last thing I said to the person was, "let
me make sure this is clear. I want no more of your product
and I want no more charges to my credit card". He assured me
that he understood and that would be the case.

On March 6, I saw another charge from this company for
$299.95 on my credit car account. I was mad, but had to wait
to Monday to call. When I called I was told that the charge
was not for any more product, but was for the "Omega Plan"
that I had signed up for. They said that they could not do
anything about it because the "Omega Plan" was a different
company and was not connected with "Focus Factor". They gave
me a 800 number where I could contact "Omega Plan".

This number was busy all morning. In the afternoon I got it
to ring and an automated system put me on hold for 30
minutes before I had to give up. I tried again later and
after a 20 minute wait, A man answered the line. He said his
name was "Theo" but refused to tell me his last name. I told
him to cancel the charge of $299.95 to my credit card. He
wanted to explain the benefits of the "Omega Plan" to me,
but I told him that I was not interested in dealing with his
company. I again insisted that the charge be taken off my
credit card. He assured me it would.

I believe this is a scam to get money from unsuspecting
people. A reputable company does not do business in
this manner.

Please make sure the charge is removed from my card.

I sent the above letter a month later, the charge was still
on my card. The Credit Card company removed the charge.
