  1. Picked up my new machine on Saturday - Bianchi Senremo (thanks waffly
for the recommendation) - and I'm positively flying. Adds 2-3 mph to my
average speed, Monday saw me do my first ever 10 miles in 30 mins over
    a normal hilly route.

More than that, it's just so much more pleasant to ride. No creaks and
groans, flies off from stationary, gears change positively.... On
Sunday I took it with me when I dropped son no 1 at a rowing head and
went off for a pootle while he was setting up. Ended up doing 45 km -
that's nearly half the Audax I did the other week - and felt like I'd
    done a gentle ride.

Only problem at the moment is the screeching front brake - do I just
let it bed in or is it worth changing the toe-in?

Now I need to find a longer route to work so I can get as much exercise
    as I used to!
