I just puchased a cycleops fluid trainer (not v2) and have no clue how to attach it to the rear wheel. does anyone have a manual for this version.. I looked at the v2 manual which is also doesnt show how to attch it to the rear. there are 2 attachment bolt.. one side with a crank. the bolts do not fit over the scewer ends on my newer bike, nor even on my 80s vintage bike... so what am i doing wrong ... a picture would help

and from the attachment instructions on the second page,
it looks like all of the current models require you to replace your stock skewer with one they supply. Don't know if this is the case for the model that you have and they omitted it?Also saw this clip on their FAQ page (cycleops.comfaq.htmOpen ↗):
