There were lots of interesting things happening in this race. Most
important has to be the return of Il Falco - Savoldelli was on the attack in
the finale, and made a late-stage lead group with Frigo, Bettini and
Rebellin. Actually Frigo's presence was also pretty significant.Jerome Pineau took an opportunistic 3rd place out of a disorganized sprint.
