    Flax Seed Recipes For Children
i would like to include flax seed in my toddlers diet, let me know a few
    recipes

    Flaxseed Crackers

    Yield: 40 to 50 crackers
    1/2 cup flaxseeds
    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup 2 percent or whole milk
    Olive oil
    Sea salt

Combine flaxseeds, flour, baking powder, garlic salt and butter in a
mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on low to medium speed until the
mixture is the consistency of cornmeal. Slowly beat in milk. Form dough
into a ball; chill for 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Divide
the dough in half. Roll out one portion at a time until flat on a lightly
floured board. Transfer each sheet of dough to an ungreased baking sheet.
Mist top of dough (or spread very lightly) with olive oil. Sprinkle
lightly with salt. Using a pizza cutter, cut into diamonds about 2 1/2
inches long. Bake until lightly browned, 20 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes on
the baking sheet, then let cool completely on wire racks. When stored in a
well-sealed container, these keep for several weeks

    ..
If you have dietary issues that make the nutrition information important,
calculate your own for safety's sake, the following are only rough
    approximations.
