  1. Flax Seed Smoothie

Flax seed is high in Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) and cleans out the
    system also.
But EFAs are very fragile and should not be heated. We store it in the
    freezer.

Our prime use is in smoothies.

    In a blender I put:
    8 oz. apple juice
    1 tsp vitamin C powder
1 heaping Tbsp Superfood (green powder full of vitamins etc.)
    1 heaping Tbsp flax seed
    2 Tbsp lecithin
    1 banana (peeled)
2 oz. frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries)
additional water (to make a quart)

None of these measurements is critical. Adjust to taste
Find ingredients that are available and work for you.
Whiz in blender until smooth drink immediately
Fairly satisfying breakfast. Healthful and tasty
If you have joint problems, try adding some Knox gelatin powder. It
    has apparently helped my knee.
