  1. I have an old unit that allows me to change between fixed & free using a gear cable. It is a converted 18t freewheel with 4 pegs acting as a clutch. It was made in the south of England & was bought about 14 years ago. It still works but I could do with another to convert an old mtb to ss with a fixed option for climbing stuff that is not too technical but able to freewheel where cranks could catch. Does anyone know if the devices are still being made or indeed if the guy (name forgotten) who developed it is still active?

I would like to know if they still make something like this. I think something like this came up on ebay recently?
