  1. Hi all,
After spending a painstaking hour trying to decipher the scrawl on my seat post (Kona thumb) and looking at a spec guide I came to the conclusion that my seat diameter is 27.0 however Kona has just informed me that the scrawl says 27.2!
I’ve already ordered the new seat post – will I have to send it back or is there a shim that will fit?

    Many thanks
    Caher

I don't think it'll be worth trying to shim it even if that is possible
with such a small difference (?). Fortunately 27.2 is the most popular
size so you won't be short of choice. I suggest ordering a 27.2 before
returning just in case a 27.0 fits better!
