  1. What is the easiest way to fit my bike, by myself?

  2. As my coach just told me last week, Never try to fit yourself. I went and got the Wobble Naught fit today. Took a long time and thats fine. Its a big change from what I would have ever come up with and since I am at a point of low miles for the year, but many more to come-it was a perfect time for me to change and try something new. I am not 20 years old anymore so I shouldnt be using my fit from 20 years ago!!

I wont know how effective it is for weeks, but if youd care to know-I can leave comments here over time.

Well said. The only thing I can add to it is: The older you get and the stronger you get the more important fit becomes.

  4. I read in some other post a while ago that on a proper fitting bike, you shouldn't be able to see the front skewer over the bars.

Is this correct? And if so, could it just be that you need a longer stem? I can see the front skewer on my bike while in the hoods or on the bottom and have a 100mm stem. Was wanting to try a 110 or 120.

  5. well-I have never been more comfortable on a bike than after my wobble naught fitting. I rode 30 miles tonight and I am now lower on the stem by 15mm, seat set back is 2cm more, seat lowered 1cm and yet I am square on my sitbones on the widest part of the sadlle, upper body is totally relaxed, arms loose, hands easily placed on hoods and I am in a very aero position. I am amazed.

I will have to ride a lot in this new position for my legs to get used to it and for my muscles to learn this new position.
