Anyone have any thoughts for a first tri bike. I want something I'm not going to "outgrow" anytime soon. I would prefer to spend the money and be able to use this bike for awhile. I'm 5'6", and fit about a 51 frame. And I've looked at the Cervelo P3 and the Felt DA4. Any thoughts between those 2? Or are there any others I should really consider?

Those are some pretty good first tri bikes. They are both long and low bikes for normal proportionally sized people. If you are long-legged they may not work as well for you.
There are many other cost effective bikes if you don't want to pay as much. Both of those are $3500+ for retail, you can get a really good bike for ~$2000 all the way down to ~$1400.
A trip to a few local tri shops would help you. You are right on the edge of needing 650's, most bike shops will try to talk you out of one but if you are normally proportioned you could go either way. If you have a choice I would suggest 700's.
