Just joined the forum because I'm looking for buying advice on my first road bike.
I've been riding regularly for pleasure & exercise for 3 years on a low cost Apollo Transition hybrid. Although this bike is OK, I have the impression that I will be able to ride further & longer with a lightweight road bike. I don't want to spend a fortune but want a quality bike that will last me a few years...... probably a decent pre-owned model.
I'm 49, 5' 10", 182lbs with inside leg 32". I'm not the fittest, so I'm looking for a comfortable bike with gearing that will help me on climbs.
I'd like advice on which bikes I should be looking at - what frame size, what technology (gears, forks, saddles, peddles). Any input appreciated.
