First ride

u could have it mounted slightly off..
make sure its wear it is close enuf to the crank

what bike did u pick up?

i know what u mean about the speed..
before on MTB was top speed was around 30mph
now i have been up to 50mph 8)

Jeez mate.....a flat on your first ride. You should invest in some better tires :-)
