Im new to racin and am trying to get ready for my first race in March. I can hold my average speed up around 26mph for a 40 miler, but thats on my indoor trainer. I ride for around 2 hours a day 4 days a week and then on a 5th day usually a weeked i do a 1 hour sprint practice doin a 15 minute warm up then power itervals 5 minutes on 5 minutes recovery and then do constant intervals keeping my HR in zone 3 for a 20 minute interval, then finish with a cool down. I really want to start out with a bang in March, even though i know i need to get the tactics down better and need expierence, but does anyone have any good training advice for me. By the way im 15.

Oh. Okay. 🙂
Sounds like you've got a good handle on intervals. Do you have a team or local group that you ride with? It's important to get some experience riding around other bikes, and the more experienced racers will give you tips as well. Seeing as how you're already training pretty hard for your level of competition, getting in with a team would be my biggest suggestion. Good luck.

Agree with frenchyge here...join a race club as soon as possible. To prepare for group races, you need to start riding in a race training group. Expect to be dropped pretty quickly your first few times out. It will probably take a season or two for you to get up to speed and hang with the pack, but that's OK as long as you're enjoying the sport and making progress.
