First New Phonak Jersey

I saw my first new Phonak jersey last night at the track. A guy who shows up
every few weeks to watch the races arrived on his Specialized S-Works but
instead of his Gerolsteiner jersey he was wearing Phonak. I bet that he has
a bunch of old Postal kits in his closet.

I saw a complete Phonak kit on an older guy about two weeks ago.
Couldn't tell if he was wearing the green and yellow hearing aid...

i wonder what happened to all those USPS and Discovery jerseys from
2005? What's funny about the Phonak jersey is that next year it is
going to be IShares- new colors, new main sponsor. Maybe the Phonak
will be a collectors item?

I think that there are many Postal jerseys in closet and drawers. During
the summers of 2003 - 2005 it seemed like every 10th person riding was on a
new Trek, full Postal kit, camelback, and aerobars pointing straight up.

I passed two US Postal jerseys today. The German freds still think
they're cool, but bavaria is two years behind the culture trend.

They've been pretty common around NYC for a couple years. Not
USPS/Discovery-common, but I see a few. Including a Swiss champions
version.

So given the aerobar placement, they were a couple years ahead of their
time?
