16:23 CEST 53km/91km to go
The race management have indeed announced that the GC time gaps will be
taken on the first crossing of the finish line, which is going to be any
moment; as we drop into the tunnel under the place in front of the
Louvre the Discovery team are moving up to the front to take the line
together en masse...
Levi kept his lead by fractions of seconds from the TT's
17:45 CET and French TV is still claiming that Vino captured 5th place.
Apparently, they have difficulty understanding that if time gaps are
neutralised for safety, then so must time bonusses.
