Whats the point of even calling a gym bike-friendly if they dont have a spin class or personal training sessions specifically designed for cyclists, and instead just throw a few stationary bikes in a corner and expect us to be grateful.
It seems like every gym claims to be bike-friendly nowadays, but when you actually show up, they have no idea what cyclists need or want.
Do any of you actually know of a gym that has a dedicated cycling program, with instructors who are certified to teach cycling-specific workouts, and equipment thats designed for cyclists, not just some generic cardio machines.
Im talking about gyms that offer things like bike maintenance and repair classes, or workshops on how to properly fit a bike to your body, or even just a simple bike storage area thats secure and convenient.
Its not like were asking for much, just a little bit of understanding and accommodation would be nice.
But no, instead we get gyms that claim to be bike-friendly, but really just have a few token cycling classes and expect us to be happy with that.
So, Ill ask again, are there any gyms out there that actually get it, that actually understand what cyclists need and want, or are we just stuck with a bunch of wannabe bike-friendly gyms that are really just full of empty promises.
