I am looking for a saddle for TODM. I bought a Terry Cite (or whatever) on sale or return (as long as it is like new). So we had a try of various saddles.
Turns out I am looking for something with moderate but not extreme padding, a female cutout, and about 8-9 inches wide (yes she is that broad in the beam). We tried various saddles on the various bikes. The Brooks B17 was borderline width, but obviously no cutout. An unknown saddle on my citybike project was wide enough but the shape without a cutout and somewhat dished was awful.
There is the Terry Molto but that is a bit soft and pricey, though the width looks right. Any other suggestions? It seems that most leisure saddles are horrendously squishy.
The alternative is to look for a semi-recumbent such as a Giant Revive but that will involve serious expenditure. A trip to the York Rally next year is in order in any case..

I have a Bontrager saddle that sounds like your specification. Cost me £20 about 3 years ago. Thanks for that. I had a look at the Bontrager web site but no joy. The Raleigh web site looks hopeful so I'll try th elocal raleigh dealer on Saturday.
