having taken some leave from work finally got round to ordering the Dawes Horizon. Yes I did post about this back in June but other things such as work, training courses etc got in the way; and I actually prefer autumn/winter riding as I suffer from hay fever in the high summer and it was just *too* damn hot at some points!
Should be picking it up at 12:30 tomorrow..
BTW well done to James & AW Cycles, Caversham, Reading [1] - e-mailed them with new contact details (as they would not get very far calling my work number with me not being there!) and a request to change tyres to 700 x 28.
the e-mail was read within *minutes* and I received a telephone call shortly afterwards. In todays world I am used to having to constantly chase reasonable requests for service (which are very often just ignored) - this is a refreshing contrast and should definitely be applauded!
