  1. Dropped four pounds.

Starting a diet does funny things to time. I started LC on September
12st, dropped four pounds of water weight in about a day, and then
proceeded to watch the scale do absolutely nothing for almost three
    weeks.

I tried not to pay attention, but how can you not? I really thought I
was going to be stuck at that weight foooooorrrrrreeevvvverrrr. The
only things that kept me from quitting were the fact that I have
reached critical mass and a self-concept that won't allow me to weigh
    almost 300 pounds again.

But it's clear my metabolism is a little screwy. It's unusual for the
needle to get stuck like that for almost three weeks at the start of
    Induction.

However. because I've read Atkins I know what that means is that my
insulin is getting snarky -- maybe from drugs, maybe from too may
carbs, maybe because of some other hormonal deal. Cure? Low Carb.

I volunteer my time and effort to proving this once again.
