  1. Anyone here use filemaker as a running log?

  2. When all you have is a hammer, every thing looks like a nail. I moved
all my db developing to FileMaker about eight years ago and naturally
moved my running log to it. It works great and naturally does
everything I want in a log, but since its only for me it is an interface
    nightmare.

The learning curve is as shallow or steep as you want it to be, but
FMP's built-in capabilities for handling date and time make it pretty
simple to set up a basic log.

Email me if you have any questions. Also there are three really good
lists and a newsgroup that provide excellent help regardless of skill
    level.
