    Fiber that isn't part of anybody's, or most people's, diet.
    For example, grass and wood both contain plenty of fiber,
    but they don't contribute to dietary intake of fiber. The
    same goes for, say cotton.

    Dietary fiber includes both soluble and insoluble
    varieties of fiber.
