Just shopping for my father atm.
He has come across 2 bikes he likes and in his price range.
One is a Cannondale r800, Ultegra rear derailer and 105 everything else. $2800 down to $1999.
The other is a FELT F35, maybe 2004/5 model.
Dura-ace Levers, derailers, FSA Carbon Fibre? cranks, MAVIC Ksyrium Elite wheels, Ultegra calipers etc. $3800 down to $2200.
Now, his main concern is maintenance. How much more durable etc is the Dura-ace gear over the 105 etc?
Does the FELT have a life time warranty on the frame?

PS: he is 65 years old and does around 300km a week on an old Giant OCR, which he borrowed and has already spent $500 in a few weeks on it.
