    My Favorite Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

    1-1/2 cups Butter, softened 2-1/2 cups packed Brown Sugar
    4 Tbsp. Milk 2 Tbsp. Vanilla 2 Eggs 3-1/2 cups Flour 2
    tsp, Salt 1-1/2 tsp. Baking Soda 1 (12-oz.) bag Chocolate
    Chips, I prefer Milk Chocolate Chips 1-1/2 cups chopped
    Pecans or Walnuts

    Preheat Oven to 375 degrees In a large mixer bowl, beat
    butter, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla on medium speed of
    mixer until well blended. Add eggs; beat well after each
    addition. Stir together flour, salt and baking soda.
    Gradually add to sugar mixture, beating on low speed of
    mixer, just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
    by hand. Roll dough into 1" balls and place 2" apart on
    baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or just until cookies start
    to brown around edges. Cool 2 minutes before removing to
    cooling racks. Yields: about 6 dozen

    My Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

    2 cups Brown Sugar 1 cup Butter, softened 1 cup Chunky
    Peanut Butter, my favorite is Jiff 2 tsp. Vanilla 2 large
    Eggs 2-1/2 cups Flour 2 tsp. Baking Soda 1 tsp. Salt 8 tsp.
    Sugar, set aside

    Preheat Oven to 375 degrees Ungreased Cookie Sheets In
    large bowl, combine sugar and butter, beat until fluffy.
    Add peanut butter, vanilla and eggs, blend well. Add dry
    ingredients, mix well. Shape dough into 1" balls, place
    on baking sheet 2" apart, on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake
    on middle rack level of oven. Bake 6-9 minutes, but watch
    closely. As soon as cookies start browning on the edges,
    remove from oven. Before baking you can dip tines of fork
    into sugar you set aside and make criss-cross lines on
    top of cookies. Yield: 7 to 8 dozen BonApetite' PattyG
