  1. I wondor if anyone can offer me any advice.

Type I diagnosed June 2001. Lantus 29 units and Novorapid
    as and when.

I am waking up on Blood sugars of between 10-15. When I go
to bed and test at about 11:00pm I am usually between 5.00 -
6.00. I have tested a couple of nights and I seem to be hypo
about 1:00am-2:00am. Now I understand that I need to reduce
my Lantus, until my morning sugars are Ok, but my question
is that My Lantus seems to be running out after about 19hrs,
does anyone else have this problem...?Also I was told by my
Nurse that with Lantus you are not "supposed" to hypo..? I
am a little bit wary of this as my consultant told me to
Increase my Lantus until my morning sugars are ok. But I AM
hypo at night. So whose advice do I take Diabetic Nurse or
    Consultant..?

To be honest I have been struggling with this for months
and besides this my Hba1C are usually between 5-6, but my
last one was 7.8, I nearly fell of my chair, hence why I
    feel so c**p.

Any advice..? For a very very tired working mother of 3..?

    Thanks In Advance

    Su
